Return policy

Advanced Maintenance Australia provides a 30 day warranty on all consumables (toner cartridges) for any brand for faults due to defective materials or workmanship. The warranty commences from the day of dispatch from Advanced Maintenance Australia and is extended if the manufacturers warranty is longer than 30 days. Printers and multifunctions are covered under the manufacturers standard warranty period. We can organise a warranty service call with the appropriate manufacturer, but in most cases it would be more timely to contact the manufacturer direct. Please be aware that most lower price products have a return to base warranty and all costs associated with the return of the product is at the customers expense. Please consider the warranty conditions before purchasing.

Requesting a Return Parts Authority (RPA)

Before goods can be returned an RPA number must be allocated to the defective product. Once an RPA number is given it remains valid for 10 business days. If the product is not returned in this time period then the RPA is closed.

Broken or damaged goods in transit

Please consider shippng insurance when purchasing products. Inspect all goods for correct quantity and condition before signing any proof of delivery document or electronic transaction device presented to you by a delivery provider. Once signed you have verified the product and the quantity of the product as correct and in an acceptable condition.

Ordered in error or no longer required

If you have ordered the wrong product by mistake or you no longer require the product, in most cases we will take the product back subject to a restocking fee. As long as the product is returned in perfect unopened condition, this fee is typically 15% and will not exceed 25% of the price you paid, unless we advised you at the time of purchase that it was a special purchase item and could not be returned.

Defective consumable/toner product or warranty claim

If a consumable (toner carrtidge) fails or stops working by what appears to be a product defect, please use the returns system to get the product back to us. We will then determine the fault with the relevant manufacturer and credit the product in full if applicable. If a replacement is required ahead of the unit being assessed, please place a new order.

Incorrect product supplied

We work hard to ensure the right product is shipped to you but in the event that an incorrect item is shipped we will credit the product in full once returned. Please consult with our sales team before ordering a replacement to ensure that we do not repeat the error. Please note that in all circumstances a Return Parts Authority number must be obtained before shipping the product back to us. Products must be returned in their original packaging and unopened, which must not be defaced in any way, consequently, we recommend that they should be shipped inside extra packaging.
